The teenage and young adult years are a period of immense growth, self-discovery, and transition, but they can also be challenging, overwhelming, and paralyzing at times. At Golden Peaks Counseling, we recognize the unique difficulties that young people face and are dedicated to providing the support they need for their mental health and well-being. Here are some of the common challenges that teenagers and young adults encounter:

  1. Identity Formation: Adolescence and young adulthood are marked by the process of identity formation, which can be accompanied by uncertainty, confusion, and self-doubt. My goal is to help empower teenagers and young adults to develop resilience, coping skills, and a strong sense of self as they navigate the complexities of this transformative life stage.
